    After breakfast, head to the Sinharaja Rainforest. It is renowned for the Sinharaja Forest Reserve, a national park and biodiversity hotspot in Sri Lanka.

    Assistance on arrival at The Rainforest Eco Lodge and later enjoy a walk through the Sinharaja Rainforest.

    Trek through one of the finest natural rainforests in the world, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Man and Biosphere Reserve. Sinharaja is likely one of the oldest living ecosystems, making it a must-visit destination that promises to exceed expectations. Navigate the dense greenery of towering trees, interwoven with shrubs, woody climbers, vines, and smaller trees. Experience a biodiversity hotspot featuring over 50% of Sri Lanka’s endemic trees, woody climbers, mammals, birds, butterflies, reptiles, insects, and rare amphibians. This breathtaking forest is home to the Rusty-spotted cat, Fishing cat, Sambar,Wild boar, Barking deer, Squirrel, Monkey, Porcupine, and the rare Leopard, among many other mammals. Additionally, you can encounter reptiles such as the Green pit viper, Hump-nosed viper, and Krait. The forest's fascinating birdlife includes 160 species, with 18 of Sri Lanka's 20 endemic bird species found here.

    After breakfast, we head to Udawalawe National Park with a packed meal. The park is home to an estimated 500 elephants, often seen in herds of up to 1,000, and the dry season offers the best viewing opportunities. Enjoy a safari to witness families of elephants bathing and playing.

    Morning Safari at Bundala National Park & travel to Yala.

    In the morning, enjoy a safari at Bundala National Park, an important wintering ground for migratory waterbirds from October to March. Covering over 6,200 hectares, the park is located in the southern district of Hambantota, Sri Lanka. Bundala features a series oflagoons that serve as crucial habitats for these birds, making it Sri Lanka's first Ramsar wetland. During the safari, you can observe a variety of bird and wildlife species, including elephants, spotted deer, sambar, toque monkeys, stripe-necked and ruddy mongooses, land and water monitors, and marsh crocodiles. For birdwatchers, the wetland system boasts approximately 197 species, including several migratory waterfowl. Notable sightings include the rare Black-necked Stork and Great Thick-knee. Later, continue your drive to Yala.

    In the early morning, immerse yourself in nature with a unique safari experience at Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's most popular wildlife sanctuary. This expansive area encompasses forests, grasslands, and lagoons along the southeast coast of Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. Join a guided tour in a Jeep led by a knowledgeable ranger to track the abundant wildlife, including elephants, crocodiles, buffaloes, and, with luck, a leopard. Despite the leopard's elusive nature, Yala is known for having one of the highest densities of leopards globally, enhancing the chances of a sighting. Yala National Park plays a crucial role in conserving numerous flora and fauna species in Sri Lanka, many of which are endemic to the island.

    Travel to Nuwara Eliya also nicknamed Little England, rest and recuperate center of the colonial British tea planters and dignitaries. En-route visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best Ceylon Tea in the world is produced. Afternoon is free to explore this small, beautiful town.

    Horton Plains Excursion & travel to Kandy.

    Rise early and journey to Horton Plains with your chauffeur guide for an unforgettable experience. This pristine landscape offers picturesque views that will challenge your photography skills. Traverse through grasslands, patches of evergreen forests, and cloud forests dotted with freshwater streams and mist-covered swamps. The tranquil ambiance is punctuated only by the sounds of gushing water, birdsong, and the wind rustling through the trees.

    Horton Plains, recognized as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site and a biodiversity hotspot, provides exceptional opportunities to observe a variety of plant species, mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. The highlight of the plains is "World's End," a sheer cliff with an 870m (2,854 ft) drop, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas. Additionally, don't miss Baker's Falls, renowned as one of Sri Lanka's most stunning waterfalls, cascading down a 20m (66ft) high rock face.

    Afterwards, travel to Kandy.

    Visit the Temple of the Tooth, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the evening. This temple boasts a rich history spanning centuries and is revered as the repository of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth, with its golden roof, is home to Sri Lanka’s most significant Buddhist relic – the tooth of the Buddha. During puja (offerings or prayers), the heavily guarded room where the tooth is kept is accessible to devotees and tourists, although the tooth itself remains unseen. It is enshrined within a gold casket shaped like a dagoba (stupa), which is nested inside a series of six progressively smaller dagoba-shaped caskets.

The meticulously landscaped grounds feature beautiful avenues, lush lawns, and vibrant flower beds, making it a perfect place for a leisurely stroll. Highlights include the majestic Javan fig tree, the giant bamboo of Burma, and the cannonball tree, each contributing to the garden's rich botanical diversity and enchanting beauty.

    Later, travel to Negombo.

    Negombo, a vibrant coastal city in Sri Lanka, is renowned for its picturesque beaches, bustling fish markets, and rich cultural heritage. Located just a short drive from Bandaranaike International Airport, it serves as a convenient and charming gateway for travelers. The city's beautiful sandy beaches and tranquil lagoon offer opportunities for relaxation and water activities such as boating and fishing.
